What is HAIR etage

Hair has always carried meaning.

Within Black communities it holds history, creativity, resilience, and cultural expression. It carries stories passed through families and across generations.

We call this HAIR etage.

HAIR etage represents the intersection of hair and heritage. It reflects the cultural memory and identity embedded in the traditions, creativity, and personal expression connected to hair.

HAIR etage Conversations was created to make space for these stories to be honored and shared.
